North of San Carles, the original ‘nudist’ beach has an extremely laid back ambience and is a long standing favourite with cool north islanders. Narrowly stretched along the foot of low cliffs, looking out to the isle of Tago Mago, with drummers playing at the little chiringuito’s situated at the access points.

Prime destination for boat trips out of San An, consequently offering nig fun, mainstream beach facilities, like water sports, though the odd impromptu outdoor hippie trance parties have been known to just occur.

South west of San Jose, a calming location benefiting from a view of the truly striking rock island, known as Es Vedra, reputedly the third moist magnetic place on earth, with two of the best seafood restaurants close by.

Just north of San An, adjacent little coves with sheltered peaceful family orientated beaches, the smallest has an enticing chiringito, at night becoming a visual treat, with candlelit tables placed around the sand and rock face.

By day a quiet away from it all bay, with the coolest chilled café bars, dotted along its rocky front. By night, home to a happening club venue known as the Blue Marlin, dance inside to cool underground club sets, by quality island DJ’s or listen from the waters edge until 6 in the morning to the see the sunrise.

Four kilometres north of San An, tucked into a sandy cove with rocks leading to secretive bays, crystal clear water, gorgeous scenery and a restful ambience.

Accessed from San Miguel- San Juan road, this sandy cove, surrounded by steep pine-covered hills, is an ‘alternative’ gathering point at sunset- percussionists drumming out the day in tribal style as the sun descends into the bay behind a monolithic rock island, commonly referred to as god’s finger.

Long sandy Beach lined with hotels and apartments, buzzing with life and best known to clubbers as the home of bora bora and near to the infamous Space night club, where the Dj has hundreds dancing on the sand and in the sea all day long

A long stretch of white sand, which is the main nudist and gay beach, with two popular beach bars/restaurants close by. Some interesting human interaction takes place amongst the dunes, dividing the salt planes from the sea.

Hang out of the Ibiza family and general hipsters, a long wide stretch of sand lined with quality music, bars and restaurants, with water sports facilities close by. Beyond the bars are numerous tiny sandy coves protected by quarried rock formations and the elements.

You can access this sheltered bay from Ibiza town by bus, boat or even foot. It is ideal for swimming, sunbathing and there is even a nude sunbathing area to the east amongst the sheltered rocky area, with a good selection of bars and restaurants close by.
